In August the total number of people who did not attend their appointment was 66 this equates to 14.5 hours of time wasted. Not attending cost NHS £160 approx. Please call the surgery on  0208 743 1511 to cancel or rearrange

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Yellow Fever Vaccine Control Procedure

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse (not the doctor) to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & RussiaNorth America North America
Central America Central Americaindia South America
egypt Carribeanlithuania Africa
bulgaria Middle Eastpoland Central Asia
china East Asiachina Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make your initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment may be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  Some vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Most travel vaccines are free of charge. Some however are not included in the free services provided through the NHS and therefore are chargeable services. These include Yellow Fever, Meningitis, Hepatitis B, aand Rabies (this list is not exhaustive). Enquire at reception for charges.
