Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Need to see a GP or nurse in the evening or at the weekend?

There are GP services open to all patients in the borough running in the evenings and weekends. You can book an appointment from your own practice with a GP at 3 practices across the borough.

During the practice’s opening hours, you can call and ask the receptionist to book an appointment at one of these sites for an evening or weekend appointment.

On Saturday, pre-bookable practice nurse appointments are also available which can be booked through the surgery.

Please note that using these services will not affect your registration with the practice.

Walk-in centres

Parsons Green Walk-in Centre provides a quick and easy way to access healthcare from experienced NHS nurses, who can treat a range of minor injuries and illnesses.

This differs from many other NHS services in that there is no need for you to make an appointment beforehand and the centre offers extended opening hours to make things easier for you.

If the nurse is unable to provide all the care you need, you will be given advice on what else is available for you in the area.

For more information on opening times or the specific services that the Parsons Green Walk in Centre offers, please telephone 0208 102 4000 or go to the NHS website.

Urgent care centres

Urgent care centres are an alternative to A&E. They are centres that treat minor injuries and illness that require urgent treatment that cannot be seen by your registered GP.
